FIJIAN COMMUNITY IN VICTORIA MOURNS THE DEATH OF YOUTH MEMBER:

It is with great sadness that we tragically lost one of our very own, a humble and kind hearted youth, James Ratuyagone, yesterday morning (Thursday 31st January,2019)
in a road accident at a small farming community in Murchison, Victoria.

From humble beginnings, James came to Australia last year with his dad and had a promising future to further his rugby career here in Australia. His dream was short lived when James was hit by a car early morning while walking back to his caravan after having dinner with friends at a nearby caravan park. He will be deeply missed by everyone in the community who have come to know him.

James Ratuyagone and his Dad Aporosa Ratuyagone are members of the Fijian Community Association Victoria and FCAV has been with his family here in Melbourne to provide support since the news of his passing was relayed to us.

Our sincere condolences goes out to James’s family at this difficult time.

The new Moomba Parade route will begin at Birdwood Avenue then weave through the picturesque Kings Domain parkland and conclude on Linlithgow Avenue near Queen Victoria Gardens.
